A trip to MAC!

I have been using the Nars Sheer Glow foundation, which is apparently meant to be good for all skin types. When I first got it, I loved it and felt it worked for me. However as time went on I felt like I started to look more and more like a disco ball. So today I decided to go to MAC for a new foundation… which lead to me buying a few other things!

Before I talk about what I got, I would like to take a moment to ask… What happened to the MAC bags? :| I have to say I was slightly disappointed when I walked away holding this. I think the style of the old bags made the shopping experience feel that little bit more special… or maybe it's just me?

Okay, Now onto what I bought! Firstly I got one of the makeup artists (who was very helpful!) to help me find a foundation. The one she recommended to me was the 'Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation' Which I got in '3.0'. This foundation gives a natural matt finish and is good for oily skin. Depending on how much you put on will depend on how much coverage you achieve, which for me personally is great. Some days I need more coverage than others.

I then got matched to the 'Select Moisturecover' concealer in 'NW25', a blush in 'Plum Foolery', an eyebrow pencil in 'Spiked' and the 'Fix+'. 'Fix+' is obviously good for fixing you make-up in place (hence the name!). It provides moisture for the skin so instead of your skin taking in your makeup, it will take in the 'Fix+', which means your makeup will be longer lasting! I personally feel like my makeup never lasts, so I have high hopes for this.

I may do a blog post where I talk about how I'm finding the products and compare them to a few others I have tried.

Retail therapy works wonders!
