Essie Nail Polish

Recently I decided to try out Essie nail polish. I bought a duo which cost me £12.99. It came with bahama mama which is my favourite nail polish at the moment. It's a gorgeous deep purple red. My favourite kind of colour for this time of year. It also came with chin chilly which is a pretty grey purple.

When I first used the nail polish I was stunned by the fact it lasted me a whole week until it chipped. I was really happy by this as even though it costs a bit more you do get your moneys worth.

Here I have painted my nails with Essie bahama mama and completed it with a top coat of Barry M in 54 clear.
If you haven't tried out Essie's nail polish yet I would highly recommend!

Small Intro and Goals..

When I originally started this blog I didn't introduce myself. So here it goes! My name is Casey. I am a student studying Graphic and Media Design and I also have a part time job. I love watching the guru's on YouTube, who are my inspiration behind starting this blog. Since I started this blog I haven't really done many posts because I've just bee wrapped up in my day to day life. Now that it is coming up to the end of the year and the start of a new one I have thought of some goals I'd like to achieve by the end of 2014. Learning to Drive, gaining work experience within the Graphic and Media Design field and being more productive. By being more productive I mean from writing a blog post to reading a book! So here it goes! On this page I will be posting all sorts, more regular than I had been.

I'd like to hear what some of your goals are so comment down bellow!

Love Casey! x

L'OREAL NEW Skin Perfection 3 in 1 purifying Micellar Solution

I have been loving this product to remove my makeup this month. On the bottle it says it: 1. Dissolves makeup 2. Unclogs pores and removes impurities 3. Tones and soothes skin. It definitely does all of these.

It smells plain but at the same time chemically, if you get my drift. I usually use 3 cotton pads to remove my makeup and this bottle lasted me around 4 weeks, which I suppose is around the same amount of time a packet of makeup removing wipes would last. After using this product my face feels smooth, clean and refreshed, however I do like to use face wash afterwards.

It costs a little over £3 which I think is a bargain for such a good product. I will definatley purchase this again!

L'OREAL also have some other Skin Perfection products, which after using this one I definitely want to try them.

NIVEA Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer

NIVEA Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer for normal and combination skin is said to moisturise and provide a smooth base for makeup application with effective hydrators. I'm pleased to say that it is not lying! It does exactly what it says on the box.

The cream has a light and soft consistency which is what I enjoy the most about this cream. Once it is applied, my skin is still able to breathe, it absorbs really well and leaves you feeling really refreshed with a smooth base ready to apply your makeup onto.

I really like the packaging. It comes in a glass pot (which makes the product feel like it could have costed more than it actually did) with a light blue lid which I think makes the product look like it will leave you feeling clean and refreshed. The pot came inside a card board box which I quite liked.

This product is available in drug stores and supermarkets. It retails at £4.99. I have been using the same pot for around the 4/5 months mark and it is still half full. So it is definitely long lasting and worth the money.
